~The HOPPY industrial company was established in March 1970. The main product was phenolic injection molding in the initial stage. After years of efforts, we have turned to be the supplier of the famous companies such as Shi-Lin E. E., Sampo, Panasonic Taiwan and Tatung. Besides, we first developed coil form and Bakelite tube, through which HOPPY has gained the leading position and laid the firm foundation in the first stage. ~From 1979, the second stage, HOPPY amended the operation policy to expand business and increase the added values. On the basis of perfecting the processes for phenolic injection molding, HOPPY changed its production orientation and started to manufacture terminal blocks and electric appliance components as OEM. Afterwards, with the improvement of R&D capacity up to ODM, HOPPY began to market its own brand products OBM in a great amount that led to working relationships and product sales with other well known local companies such as Hitachi Taiwan, Sanyo, Teco E. & M., Kolin and so on. ~The third stage, professional and international operation started from 1987. HOPPY mainly worked for the diversity of products and the development of new market such as lift, heavy industries, PLC, UPS, etc. HOPPY occupies 98% & above of A/C terminal blocks in Taiwan and more than 30% in Japanese market. One will recognize the companies in Japan as Fujitsu General, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin Industries, Sanyo and Hitachi. Furthermore, HOPPY expand business to Japanese oversea companies, China, South East Asia and Middle East. As a result, the sales of A/C terminal blocks come to the first all over the world. ~The fourth stage began from 1996. HOPPY started the second time change by the conception of business regulation. In addition to the traditional manufacture and sales, HOPPY stressed on improving functions of trade, agent, and strategic alliance. Therefore, we set up oversea factories and offices in China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and America to engage in production, service and international business. ~During these four stages, HOPPY gained the 30 years' guidance and assistance from Mitsubishi Electric Japan. On the basis of a clear operation conception and the 5S inner beautification activity, HOPPY constantly improve suggestions and VE/VA rationalization. Meanwhile, we introduce the CAD system for drafting and the MCBA management computer system to integrate all production processes. HOPPY gain the accreditation of ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and the awards from various Japanese corporations and recorded as class A factory by BCIQ Taiwan. In the meanwhile, HOPPY employ 4 Japanese and Taiwan consultants to guide the company in strategy, tactics, China investment and educational training program. We also devoted ourselves to train the second generation of international operation team that is composed of the talents who studied in Japan, USA, other foreign countries and Taiwan. Mixing together with Chinese, Japanese and American culture, the team greatly improved its international level of operation, management, quality and price. ~Paying a debt of gratitude and repaying the society are our purposes while making profit is only the process to reach the target. Every year the HOPPY puts aside 5% of the net profit for supporting various social activities, such as all the employees joining the Buddhist Tzu Chi Benefaction Association, daily doing one good deed and relieving activities, etc. In addition, 25%-45% of the company profit is used for the employees to share our bonus. It is expected that good acts and bits of efforts not only put into effect our operation conception, but also mould the best business culture, which will be the firm foundation of permanent business operation. ~Our current achievements are the results of the support from various big factories and clients and the joint efforts of all the employees as well. In the future, HOPPY will intensify the international operation team of the second generation and the guidance of consultants & essential factories to make another step in the 21st century. We will develop the products to meet clients' needs with the international-level quality, price and managing capacity. HOPPY has embraced all of the changes the industry has experienced and continues to manage the company in a manner to remain as a market leader. |
